Japanese retailer and label NEPENTHES has come out with another unconventional shoe based on an English classic. Made in collaboration with fellow Japanese imprint SPECTUSSHOECO., the “not quite sneaker, not quite leather shoe” footwear creation combines the NEPENTHES Wing Tip Shoes silhouette with patented Boa closure lacing system that provides custom fit and easy access. Available in four colorways, the shoe features an upper made of leather and suede, classic derby shoe long-wing brogues, a sturdy Vibram sole, and an adjustable Boa closure system dial at the heel. Retailing for ¥48,000 JPY (approximately $430 USD), the SPECTUSSHOECO. x NEPENTHES Wing Tip Combo is available online and at NEPENTHES retailers.
