Snapchat Takes Inspiration From Instagram for New Feature

As HYPEBAE reports, Snapchat is pulling inspiration from Instagram for their latest major feature. Thanks to Snapchat’s latest update, users will be able to re-watch stories from friends by simply tapping on the left side of their phone’s screen. Snapchat is also allowing for individuals to send the stories they’re viewing to others. Like other outlets such as The Verge have noted, “you can now rewind stories just as you can on Instagram.”

The popular social media company has also launched a new feature known as World Lenses, which allows users to apply “interactive filters” to anything they wish. Check out some footage of that feature in the clip below.
