Roma's Diego Perotti Nets a Sweet Rabona Kick
Intentional or not, it was a beauty.
In a 4-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen, Roma’s Diego Perotti netted a wonderful rabona goal that even surprised himself. For those that are unfamiliar, the incredibly difficult rabona kick is where the kicking leg wraps around the back of the standing leg, and can be use for many purposes, from convenience to confusion. In this instance, it’s hard to tell if Perotti was trying to score or simply send cross pass to his trailing teammate. Whatever the intent, it looked pretty sweet in the end. And it was much better than Steelers kicker Chris Boswell’s rabona-onside-kick attempt earlier this month.
