The "China Bowl" of China's Arena Football Featured Some Interesting Celebrations
Including a homage to the John Singleton movie ‘Baby Boy.’
The China Arena Football League (CAFL) features players from the Arena Football League (AFL) and other indoor football leagues around the world while also incorporating players from China or who are of Chinese descent. The six-team, eight-on-eight football league consists of four Chinese players and four “foreign” players on the field at a times.
This past weekend, the CAFL held its first ever championship game, aptly named the China Bowl, where the Beijing Lions defeated the Qingdao Clipper 35-34 with a last second field goal. The best part however were the celebrations, including a wonderful reenactment of a scene from John Singleton’s film Baby Boy. Enjoy the clip above.
