Following up on a 5,000-audience panel at New York’s Comic Con on Saturday, Universal Pictures has released its newest trailer for the film, The Great Wall. Directed by visual mastermind Zhang Yimou (Hero, House of Flying Daggers) we’re provided with more details surrounding the plot, along with epic action scenes as the characters battle mythical monsters. We finally see how Matt Damon’s character fits into the story, while stating “I fought for greed and Gods…this is the first war I’ve seen worth fighting.” Also starring Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe, Andy Lau, Zhang Hanyu and Eddie Peng, the movie is being publicized as the largest film ever shot entirely in China and the first English-language production from Yimou.
