Red Bull Creates the World's Largest Swing Using Hot Air Balloons
Don’t try this at home.
Clearly unimpressed with the physical limits imposed on your conventional playground swing set, Red Bull threw the health and safety guidebook out the window to create the Mega Swing — a simple wooden plank attached by a 125-meter-long tether to a hot air balloon. To test out the contraption, Red Bull invited four Austrian skydivers to ascend in a second hot air balloon to a height of 1,800 meters, before each daredevil took their turn to get on the swing for the ride of their lives.
