Drake's New Whiskey Is Already Breaking Records in the 6
Canada is getting lit.
Not only does the 6 God continue to break music records, Drizzy has started to dominate in the land of beverages as well with the success of his liquor label Virginia Black Whiskey. While whiskey-drinkers have been enjoying the spirit for months in the U.S., Canadian fans are just getting their hands on the stuff and the Northern neighbors are already going crazy for the whiskey.
According to The Toronto Star, Virginia Black sold 1,779 bottles from 220 stores across Ontario on its September 30 launch. In one week 4,650 bottles have been sold in the province, totaling $186,000 CAN (approximately $141,262 USD) in retail sales. Comparing it to Diddy’s Ciroc, it only sold 1,855 bottles in its first week last June. Have you gotten a taste of Drake’s new whiskey yet?
