Netflix has been on a roll recently with its original pieces and it’s adding more fuel to the fire. To complement its established originals such as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Orange is the New Black, Making a Murderer and many others, the streaming service will soon be delivering The Get Down. Based during the 1970s, the upcoming series covers the progression of the South Bronx and its culture such as music, community, nightlife and much more through the eyes of its youth.
