A First Look at the KITH x adidas Consortium Tubular Doom Collaboration
The New York brand unveils a trailer featuring the highly-anticipated sneaker.
After posting a teaser of the KITH x adidas Consortium Tubular Doom via Instagram, the NYC boutique has unveiled a trailer providing an in-depth look at the futuristic sneaker. The release is in conjunction with the inaugural adidas Consortium World Tour, kicking off at KITH for its New York location before heading to other cities around the globe.
Inspired by the cold weather of the concrete jungle, the monochromatic shoe dons a cement gray Primeknit upper, supported by a sock-like construction and charcoal-colored wool cage for warmth. Additional elements including marled elastic straps on the quarter panel and forefoot provide stabilization, while the unique Tubular sole design functions as both a midsole and outsole. Rounding out the silhouette is KITH’s “Just Us” slogan, which is deftly embroidered along the heel guard. KITH x adidas Consortium Tubular Doom will be available starting Saturday, January 23 at all KITH locations and online at 12 a.m. EST January 23.
