This "Drift Bench" Is More a Work of Art Than a Seating Option
Simply beautiful.

Beautiful art is created from various avenues of inspiration. In the case of American contemporary artist Fernando Mastrangelo’s “Drift Bench,” the earth’s natural formation lent ideas in his latest creation. Imitating the rugged contours and crevices of glaciers and rock patterns, the “Drift Bench” is the focal point of the Brooklyn-based artist’s concept which criss-crosses fine art with aesthetic functions. Constructed from hand-dyed sand, powdered glass, mirror and cement, the piece straddles the fine line between designer furniture and ornate artwork.
