This Supercut of David Fincher's Extreme Closeups Is Unnerving and Awesome

Legendary director David Fincher is the mastermind behind some of our generation’s greatest films. Known for his unique aesthetic and visionary approach to cinema, Fincher utilizes a distinct combination of techniques that together produce a fluid and provocative perspective. Splicing together some of the director’s most memorable closeup shots, filmmaker Jacob T. Swinney has created a supercut that references scenes from classic movies such as Alien 3 (1992), Se7en (1995), Fight Club (1997), Zodiac (2007) and more. The result is an eerie montage that is at once unnerving and oddly hypnotizing.
