A collaboration from two acclaimed mainstays, Japan’s WTAPS again lends its bold athletics to Vans. Not one to shy away from compelling use of luxe fabrics, The Fall/Winter 2015 range looks to an apt blend of suede and leather in its construction. Introducing three monochromatic colorways that take black, burgundy and navy tones to the floor, the OG Style 36 LX is the original rendering of the Old Skool, showcasing the same foxing height, padding density, fit and other attributes as its first size run from 35-plus years ago. Elsewhere, the OG Sk8-Hi LX comes in an option of black and black/grey with rippled elephant print interspersed across its upper. Customized duo branding is featured at the shoes’ heel, tongue and insole. The Vault by Vans x WTAPS 2015 fall/winter collection will be available at select Vault by Vans accounts in early September.
