Rolls-Royce Celebrates the History of Rugby With a Bespoke Wraith
A fitting tribute to the ongoing Rugby World Cup.

With the 2015 Rugby World Cup underway in England, its only fitting that one of the nation’s renowned automakers pays tribute to sport’s history. Rolls-Royce has unveiled a special “History of Rugby” edition of its Wraith model created by the company’s bespoke customization division. The luxury vehicle is given a stunning white paintjob along the exterior, a nod to the jerseys of the Rugby School in Warwickshire where William Webb Ellis laid the foundations of the sport all the way back in 1823, a green coachline and a red rose that is the most recognizable symbol of English rugby. The lush interior has also been given the bespoke treatment, highlighted by embroidered headrests and Hotspur Red accents throughout, while matching rugby balls manufactured in collaboration with Gilbert are also included in this unique model. Distinct 21-inch alloys round out the bespoke design, which can be see in detail above.
