Britain-based startup company ROLI is back with an impressive follow up to its Seaboard Grand with the latest installment, the Seaboard Rise. Adding more options than just pressing keys, this smaller version allows the artist to pinch, press, bend and slide to their own liking. In comparison to the Seaboard Grand’s 37 keys, the Rise edition hosts 25 within its compact frame. Referring to the keys as “keywaves,” ROLI is placing its own spin on how music is created and shared. Available now for preorder on ROLI’s site, it’ll cost you $799 USD to purchase this new music tech which will officially ship on October 9.
