Nike pays homage to the Seahawks’ star cornerback.
The Black Mamba’s influence on Richard Sherman serves as inspiration for the latest Kobe X as Nike Basketball presents a Seattle-esque “Emerald City” edition of Bryant’s signature kicks. Taking cues from the Seahawks’ uniforms, the design dons a Soar/Green Shock-Deep Royal Blue colorway, coupling a bright blue synthetic upper with deeper hit to the tongue, heel, and lacing as “Green Shock” outlines the Swoosh and hits the translucent rubber sole. Look for the kicks to be accompanied by a matching football jersey, beanie and Elite Socks when they drop this Saturday, October 3 for $180 USD.
