Boris Bidjan Saberi Unveils His First Women's Campaign

Known for his dark, minimalist approach, German-Persian designer Boris Bidjan Saberi has unveiled his first-ever women’s campaign — despite launching womenswear back in 2013. Shot by Timmo Schreiber in Barcelona, where Saberi holds court, the stylish, moody black-and-white imagery depicts model Marta Sanchez in a setting of forbidding waters, stone and broken glass. Interestingly, as Women’s Wear Daily notes, Saberi has long been opposed to shooting menswear campaigns for his main line, believing instead that “the pieces are best explored physically.”
