For the sixth year in a row, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® is conducting its nation-wide search for the next big name in Visual Arts. In conjunction with Russell and Danny Simmons’ Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, the Artisan Series competition is heating up and now asking for you to vote and help pick this year’s top winner for the grand prize – an opportunity for their own solo exhibit at the prestigious SCOPE New York art show. With nearly half-a-million consumer votes, over 17,000 art submissions and about a quarter-million dollars in artwork sales from the last six years, the Artisan Series is a serious platform for emerging optimistic artists to really make an impact.

Alongside the grand-prize winner mentioned above, two runners-up will also receive a stipend to help create a mural in their hometown and give back to their communities.

Last year’s winner, Kristine Mays, took home the distinguished title with her masterful wireframe sculpture work.

Who will be chosen this year? Voting begins now and ends November 9, only at the Artisan Series website. Also, check out the video below for more information and clips from last year’s show.
