Neil Bedford's 'Are We There Yet?' Candidly Captures a Boys' Summer Road Trip
“Kids have an energy that I find infectious – it’s completely different to working with adults.”
Photographer Neil Bedford recently shot a new series titled “Are We There Yet” for the latest issue of Kinfolk. This collection of photographs captures a series of candid moments from a boys’ summer road trip to Epping Forest, a calming landscape just 30 minutes outside of London where the brothers get in touch with nature. Shot in a stunning monochromatic style, the close sibling bond and carefree nature of the three boys is perfectly captured when they are making the trip by car, skimming stones by the lake and fooling around in the forest. According to the UK-based photographer, “Kids have an energy that I find infectious – it’s completely different to working with adults,” which made it a rewarding experience for himself.
