Here’s a pleasant surprise for your weekend. Unexpectedly, Toro Y Moi has released an all-new album entitled Samantha. Samantha clocks in at an impressive 20 tracks, with guest spots filled by artists such as Nosaj Thing, Rome Fortune, Kool A.D. and more. The Rome Fortune collaboration “Pitch Black” is included as one of the previously-released Toro Y Moi tracks featured on Samantha, having initially dropped a couple months back. At the beginning of the summer, Toro Y Moi also unveiled a new EP dubbed Spotify Sessions. Samantha serves as the polymath’s second Toro Y Moi album of the year, having been preceded by What For? Samantha is currently available for downloading on Dropbox.
