'The Hateful Eight' Official Teaser Trailer
The first official trailer for Tarantino’s western epic.
The Weinstein Company has finally released the first official trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s highly anticipated Western epic The Hateful Eight. Set in Wyoming following the Civil War, the film depicts the events surrounding eight Westerners who seek refuge on a mountain pass in a stagecoach stopover during a blizzard. An ensemble roster is cast and includes Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demián Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Bruce Dern (Channing Tatum and Craig Stark also supposedly appear in as yet unspecified roles). Shot on 70mm film on a Ultra Panavision 70 by longtime Tarantino cinematographer Robert Richardson (Kill Bill, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained) and scored by the legendary Ennio Morricone (his first Western in 40 years), The Hateful Eight is set to hit select theaters Christmas Day before getting a wide release on January 8, 2016.
