'NEAT: The Story of Bourbon' Explores the Bourbon Culture of Kentucky
You’re going to want to watch this with a glass of 8 year in your hand.
Mix some water and grains in a wooden barrel, let it sit a while, and the result is one of the most prized liquids in the culinary world, and nowhere else does it better than the state of Kentucky. In celebration of the golden drink, NEAT: The Story of Bourbon is a feature-length documentary that gives a comprehensive survey of the culture surrounding bourbon in the Bluegrass State, gaining access to the behind-the-scenes process of several distilleries, an interview with the governor, as well as a look at the Pappy Van Winkle heist of rare bourbons and following crime investigation. Elevated by syrupy cinematography, this is a film not to be missed by bourbon lovers. Look for it to release sometime in 2016.
