Designer Daisuke Obana’s high-altitude, mountaineering-inspired range for the upcoming season.
For Fall/Winter 2015, N.HOOLYWOOD headed for the Great Outdoors with a collection inspired by the Colorado Rockies. Heavily influenced by designer Daisuke Obana’s own trip to the mountains, the alpine-inspired range features a multitude of ski and military references, including recurring snowflake and crystal camo motifs, and design cues derived from cold-weather mountaineering. Among the noteworthy pieces this season are funnel-neck hooded sweaters, collarless fishtail parkas, cozy knits and lightweight bomber-style jackets, while Obana’s signature tailored pieces take the form of denim blazers, wool trousers and crisp dress shirts. The range is complemented by this season’s standout accessories, including a new watch collaboration with Casio, striped scarves and beanies, and a duo of sleek, monochromatic backpacks.
