J.J. Abrams' New HBO Series 'Westworld' Teaser
A glimpse at the sci-fi thriller that will make up for True Detective season two.
HBO have unveiled the first teaser for their forthcoming J.J. Abrams-helmed drama Westworld. Based on the 1973 Michael Crichton thriller by the same name, the show is set to drop next year and features appearances from Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, James Marsden and Thandie Newton. The original movie is a Western-thriller based on a futuristic theme park of cowboys and saloons. The narrative becomes complex after a robot gunman begins killing visitors. The teaser, as you would imagine, gives nothing away on the rework, although we do find Evan Rachel Woods being questioned in an ominous setting. Check out the dark, enigmatic trailer above.
