Casio G-SHOCK returns to our pages with a brand new watch on the season. The GWG1000-1A3 and GWG1000-1A9 models – less formally referred to as the MudMaster – both epitomize the Japanese brand’s insistence on elite durability, protection and function. The collection is distinguished by sealed button guards and screw locks on the exterior shell that fully prevent the elements from entering the body. These features are backed by a custom Alpha Gel within the case that provides impact protection. All this comes with the high-function features for which G-SHOCK is reputed, including a barometer and temperature sensor, full water resistance up to 200 meters, illuminated dials, Multi-Band 6 technology for context-appropriate timekeeping at all times and a host of other tools.
