Can You Skate in $460 USD Gucci Loafers?
Grinding a rail in plush Italian calf leather doesn’t sound so bad at all.
After enraging sneakerheads worldwide by wrecking the Yeezy Boost 350 as skate shoes, JENKEM magazine is out to target another (decidedly different) crowd. In this latest video, pro skater Jason Byoun saunters into the gilded halls of a New York Gucci boutique to purchase a pair of premium leather Gucci loafers, before testing its merits as a skate shoe by doing a round about town. All shot within an hour of walking out of the boutique, the loafers hold up surprisingly well for a purpose that its creators could never have envisioned. Enjoy the video above.
