The future of Pixar dystopian film WALL-E, where immobile humans have no need to ever leave their levitating armchairs in the distant future, just took another step to reality with the Amazon Prime Now‘s latest development. Starting in Seattle, Washington, Amazon will begin to offer one-hour delivery of your favorite beer, wine, or hard liquor straight to your doorstep. This is in conjunction with another scheme to launch a delivery service with participating restaurants, meaning that your alcohol delivery might potentially be paired with your favorite dish from your go-to diner. Prime Now is currently available in a number of major U.S. cities, and requires an annual membership of $99 USD, while the one-hour delivery service demands an extra charge of $7.99 USD each time.
