UBIQ x Brooks Fusion "Reserve"
UBIQ and Brooks link up for the second time to launch a wine-inspired Fusion.
Seattle-based American sportswear label Brooks and Philly’s UBIQ have come together for the second time, following up last year’s “Liberty” edition of the Chariot with a fine wine-inspired take on the Fusion silhouette. Aptly dubbed the “Reserve,” the collaborative Fusion takes cues from the award-winning wine crafted in the two parties’ respective hometowns. The result is an elegant and sophisticated design that honors the meticulous process of wine-making with handmade craftsmanship of premium perforated leather and nubuck suede as deep red and rich navy paneling get a clean finish in the form of a stark white midsole, waxed cotton laces and off-white accents. Best of all, the vintner cues are taken a step further thanks to custom co-branded cork insoles while silver-tipped laces and 3M applications to the mudguards provide some added flash.
The limited edition UBIQ x Brooks Fusion “Reserve” will be available for $130 USD at UBIQ Walnut and the Philly-based retailer’s web store beginning this Saturday, July 11 before hitting additional spots August 1.
