During their headlining set at Glastonbury this past weekend, Florence + the Machine covered the Foo Fighters‘ 2003 single “Times Like These.” The tribute was paid largely due to the fact that the Foo Fighters were originally slated as the festival’s headliners, but eventually withdrew after lead singer Dave Grohl broke his leg — caused by falling offstage during the band’s concert in Sweden. Prior to the tribute, Florence Welch also spoke kindly of Grohl, saying “We would like to dedicate this next song to the legend and all around incredible human being, Dave Grohl. He was so incredibly kind and supportive to us when we were first starting out and we were so sad to hear that he broke his leg because we love him so much.” Enjoy the cover in the video above.
