Insiders at TV Line have reported that Fox is in the early stages of developing a Prison Break miniseries, set to presumably debut next year. Fans have ceaselessly campaigned for additional episodes of the beloved TV drama, which ran from 2005-2009. Although plot details are still under wraps, the miniseries is expected to follow a similar format as last year’s 24 revival, 24: Live Another Day spinoff, which spanned 12 episodes, and concluded with an open-ended premise that left room for future episodes if ordered. Star actors Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are also on board to rekindle their on-screen chemistry as prison-escapee brothers. Check back later for more information regarding the new episode installments, and let us know whether you plan on tuning in.
