Renowned for his watch remakes and the Bamford Watch Department, George Bamford is at it again, and this time he’s translating his sleek style straight into your grooming routine. Launching later this month, the Bamford Grooming Department will be a line of male grooming products that encompass everything the modern male needs — from shampoo to shaving oil, in a seven-piece collection. The products take style cues from the popular Bamford Watch Department, donning a sleek black aesthetic highlighted by aqua accents, but the substance is stellar as well. Working together with his mother Carole, “Edition 1” took 18 months to develop and are inspired by travel and the idea of having easy to carry products that are essential. Carole Bamford has been producing her own line of bath and body products since 2006, so the expertise is present as the duo taps into the male grooming market that is currently booming. Among the products are the Exfoliating Face Wash, comprised of ginger, black rice, quartz and charcoal; the Shave Oil, a formula of blackcurrant, echium and borage oils; and the Moisturizer, featuring blackcurrant seed, echium, borage oil and South African resurrection plant. The innovative ingredients are made to complement the busy man’s life, with active ingredients such as the South African resurrection plant, which Bamford says helps skin adapt to changing weather. The Bamford Grooming Department will become available June 15 at Dover Street Market London and New York, colette in Paris, and online at MR PORTER. Prices will range from $40 USD to $110 USD; for more information, check out its website.
