'Everest' Official Trailer Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Keira Knightley & Josh Brolin

The next in this year’s crop of breathtaking disaster films is Everest, which chronicles the 1996 Mt. Everest disaster and is based on the 1997 bestselling non-fiction novel Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer. Following the exploits of two expeditions separately led by Scott Fischer (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Rob Hall (Jason Clarke) that summited Mt. Everest, the film takes us through the events that transpired as a massive snowstorm hits the climbing parties, who must fight the forces of nature to make it back down the formidable mountain, and to safety.
