Drake Speaks About Making It From the 6ix in New Documentary
“Do it from where you’re at, if you have the music that’s all it takes”
Drake opens up about coming from Toronto, a once-underdog city in terms of music and arts. With everyone telling him that he would need to move to New York City to truly make it, Drake did it right from his home, wanting to make “everyone proud of our city.” Now at the top of his game, Drake isn’t concerned about competing with other top artists out there — he’s worried about the kids at home who want to replace him.
