adidas Originals 2015 Summer "Pride Pack"

adidas Originals gears up to celebrate LGBT Pride Month around the world with the release of the Pride Pack. Taking the brand’s most iconic silhouettes, adidas has doused each one in a measured melange of bright colors, drawing inspiration from the rainbow flag. The Stan Smith sees a cool gradient applied to its laces and some sparse trickles oozing from the perforations on its classic white upper, with its frenetic insole hidden out of sight during wear. Meanwhile, the Superstar 80s’ timeless black-and-white colorway is spiced up with rainbow paint splatter along the sole, matched by a similarly busy insole. Lastly, the black adilette Slide sees a paint splatter graphic applied to its strap, while the Three Stripes branding remains visible. Underlining its efforts, adidas has partnered with Portland advocacy group New Avenues for Youth and the Portland Monthly‘s “Flare” LGBT event, to which a portion of the sales from the Pride Pack will be donated. Launching on June 6, the Pride Pack will be available online, and at adidas Originals stores and retail partners.
