In celebration of Slam Jam’s 25th year anniversary, the Italian streetwear clothing company has teamed up with Los Angeles-based Undefeated to produce a commemorative capsule collection for the upcoming summer season. The collaboration sees the duo’s take on a short-sleeve T-shirt, mesh shorts, hooded sweatshirt, and a french terry cloth crewneck all bearing the chosen color block detailing and “U.S.J.89” lettering throughout. Recognizing each other as long-term friends, Slam Jam and UNDFTD met up for a game of basketball at Los Angeles’ Lafayette Park where they shot the resulting lookbook. With each piece enriched by a Slam Jam XXV label, the collection’s color choice mimics the vibrant spectrum of a Californian sunset. The Slam Jam x Undefeated 2015 Summer Collection will be available worldwide at selected UNDFTD retailers and at Slam Jam Milano on June 5.
