Check Out 1Rebel, A Newly-Opened Luxury Boutique Gym in London

For gym-goers in London, the gym experience became a little less of a dreaded one thanks to the recent opening of luxury boutique gym 1Rebel, as designed by architecture and interior design firm Studio C102. Designed to “feel like a night out – an event in its own right rather than a means to an end,” Studio C102 took an 8,000-square-foot space that previously functioned as an office, and re-outfitted it in a way that resembles an eclectic combination of a theater, a nightclub, and an industrial setting. Within its confines, the gym incorporates two studios called “Ride” and “Reshape” that make use of wall projections, with live bands invited to play during workout sessions on occasion. Changing rooms feature luxurious barber’s chairs and Hollywood-style vanity mirrors, and elsewhere, a fitness apparel store and cafe receive gym-goers after they complete their exercises. 1Rebel currently has two locations in London, which can be found here.
