Carhartt WIP Presents Öctagon's Debut Skate Video

After teasing the piece over the past month, here Carhartt WIP presents the full-length version of Öctagon’s debut video for our viewing pleasure. Diverging from the traditional format of skate videos (introduction, parts, montage, etc.), the Joaquim Bayle-directed feature is built on avant-garde cinematography, infusing tech-apocalyptic motion graphics throughout skating by riders such as Sylvain Tognelli, Bram De Cleen and Joseph Biais. At the heart of the film though is a sense of pure irreverence and rebellion, a motif that not only undercuts the visual identity of the piece, but also remains honest to skateboarding as a whole.
