The Making of Star Wars is the first ever Star Wars documentary that shows the making of Star Wars: A New Hope, the very first film of the Star Wars saga that was released in 1977. Narrated by the late William Conrad, the documentary brings you into the world of the film franchise by featuring hosts R2-D2 and C-3PO as they explore the story behind writer and director George Lucas as well as the movie’s groundbreaking special effects. The documentary originally aired as a TV special in 1977 on ABC and is now available online. Check it out above.
