Wrapping up this year’s Art Basel Hong Kong festivities was an intimate showing at creative agency Constant. The exhibition, dubbed “RESITUATION” showcased works by Spanish contemporary artist Felipe Pantone, whose definitive style builds from a melange of graffiti motifs, colors, and geometric shapes. A member of renown European crew Ultraboyz, Pantone’s work exudes a raw yet futuristic sensibility that allows it to seamlessly blend into street corners and the blogosphere alike, providing inspiration to artists from across the realms of graphic design, fashion, and beyond. For “RESITUATION,” Pantone presents signed and numbered prints, large spray painted canvases, and enamel paintings on wooden panels; all meticulously executed to coincide with his post-modern aesthetic. Check out a recap to “RESITUATION” above and follow Pantone and Constant on Instagram to stay updated with their movements.
