Joey Bada$$ Joins the Freddie Gray Protests in New York

The death of Freddie Gray has shocked the world, and incited consequent protests. While social media stays truly on top of the topic, it’s news stories are bolstered by acknowledging who is affiliating themselves with the cause. Today, Joey Bada$$ and his Pro Era crew were spotted in New York, at the Russell Simmons-organized protest. Talking to his fellow protestors Bada$$ spoke on Freddie’s death, as well as the way in which the government had handled it. More photos of the rapper’s involvement in the protest can be seen here.
