For our latest installment of Essentials, we focus our spotlight on Staple Design founder jeffstaple. The entrepreneur first discovered his creative talents while working an entry-level job at a design firm during college. With no prior training, the inspired employee honed his skills and within six months became an instructor within the firm, teaching programs such as QuarkXPress, Photoshop and Illustrator to newcomers. While Jeff originally enrolled into NYU on a journalism degree, he later dropped out to pursue design at Parsons. His interests in fashion led him to start a silk-screening T-shirt business, which would later develop into the ubiquitous streetwear imprint Staple, and its offshoot - a visual communications agency named Staple Design.
For his Essentials, jeffstaple includes a variety highly-functional everyday items. His grooming essentials - Nivea lip balm, Peppermint Balm and Kiehl’s Salve – sit above gadgets needed for him to stay connected on the road. Also included are primary necessities such as keys and cash, both of which sit beside Staple offerings such as the gold pigeon pin and a Porter x Staple wallet. Enjoy the Essentials above and head to Staple Design’s webpage for more on the brand.
