Located just outside of Warsaw in the midst of a tranquil forest environment sits the Izabelin House by Marcin Tomaszewski of Reform Architekts. The two-storey residence serves as a country retreat for a single family, and is constructed of visually contrasting horizontal sections with the lower storey sporting a reflective paneling. The mirrored surface appears as an extension of the forest floor, giving the illusion that the second storey is floating in the middle of the trees. Large glazing on both facades of the house and a sheltered decking area on the ground level complete the design. Check out the picture set of this unique structure above.
