Released 40 years ago, the Porsche 911 Turbo has undergone many changes, some of which include the change from an air-cooled to a liquid-cooled engine, adoption of a midship layout, and upgrading to a seven-speed transmission from a five-speed. To see exactly how much better 40 years of progress has made the 911 Turbo, Magnus Walker sought out the original 1975 model, driving it with its modern-day counterpart for a thorough analysis of the two.
