Layers of White is a stunning private residence located in Tel Aviv that was designed by local design firm Pitsou Kedem Architects. Sprawling over 500 square meters, the penthouse was constructed around a central motif that effectively splits the space into two sections, with one serving as the living quarters while the other hosts the spacious living room and kitchen. The concrete nucleus is covered by geometrically shaped textures that were custom designed for the project, and the ceilings are clad with three-dimensional aluminum in white along with hues creating a monochromatic meditative atmosphere. The glazed walls allow plenty of the sun’s rays to infiltrate the space resulting in a play on light, shadows and textures, while a spectacular view of the varying landscape can also be taken in with full effect. Outfitted with contemporary designer furniture, this residence is one of the many modern projects that Pitsou Kedem has put together with the rest on display here.
