Ixoost Crafts Sound Systems from Original Formula 1 Exhaust Pipes

Modena-based Ixoost crafts bespoke sound systems using original Formula 1 exhausts, with each design carefully put together by hand for the buyer. The company aims to translate the sound from a finely tuned engine into an audio experience that users can get just by connecting their smartphone or MP3 to the docking station. Featuring a 140W active subwoofer, this unique audio system comes in V8, V10 and V12 versions, and is now on display until April 12 at Biennale International Design Saint-Etienne located at the Museum of Art and Industry.
