Italia Independent x Hublot Big Bang UNICO

Eyewear company Italia Independent has collaborated with Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot for the “Big Bang Unico.” As a result of the collaboration, a new casing material has been developed, Texalium, which is now exclusive to Hublot. The material is singular in that is is an aluminum-coated carbon fiber, which can be melded into different tints, yet keeping its aesthetic brilliance and composite lightness. The Big Bang Unico will come in a blue color variation with a denim studded strap, as well as a grey version, both equipped with Hublot’s in-house Unico chronograph caliber. 500 of these extravagant timepieces have been made, and will come with a customized Italia Independent case and a pair of Texalium sunglasses.
