'Batman: Arkham Knight' Official "Officer Down" Gameplay Trailer

While the Batman movie franchise is in a transition of sorts, fans of the series can look forward to paving their own plot for Gotham’s hero with Batman: Arkham Knight. After the announcement of the multi-platform video game last year, gamers have eagerly awaited the full worldwide release, which has been recently pushed back to June 23. In the meantime though, gameplay trailers such as the newly-unveiled “Officer Down” segment have sated anticipating palates. The trailer, viewable above, is seven full minutes of introductory in-game action, which finds Batman manhandling bad guys and hunting down a lost police vehicle. Missions such as the above demonstrate the slow-motion effects, fantastic gliding ability, and expansive playground in which the Dark Knight operates – making the full game all the more appetizing.
