Y-3 2015 Fall/Winter Boost QR

As the Paris fashion show represents a period of renewal, so too does Y-3 follow suit by introducing a new silhouette for Fall/Winter 2015: the Boost QR. This tech-forward runner echoes on the ease-of-wear seen in silhouettes like the Qasa Racer or Yohji Boost, although outwardly takes a more complicated aesthetic. Executed with a neoprene upper at the base, the BOOST QR is then detailed with swooping leather trim from the midfoot through the heel, contrasted by an exposed heel lock at the rear. The white-red blocked midsole conceals adidas’s penchant Boost technology underneath, which in this context, is sure to keep wearers cozy through the day.
