In familiar fashion, contemporary footwear brand VICO have teased its fans with a lookbook trailer ahead of its official release. Filmed in the Basque city of Biarritz located in Southern France, the video follows the life cycle of a surfboard — from the sculpting process at the hands of the craftsman to the finished product gliding across a glistening Atlantic Ocean wave. Set over an ambient soundtrack, the empathetic video evokes a feeling of tranquil relaxation, reminiscent of a care-free summer day. The collection, titled “Le Basque,” is set to be released on February 19 at selected retailers, including KITH and HYPEBEAST Store.
