Popcorn Monsoon by Jolene Carlier

Artist and designer Jolene Carlier reimagines popcorn making with the Popcorn Monsoon. Relying only on hot air instead of heating oil for popping, the playful machine features an elongated tube through which rising popcorn travels and ends in an attached bowl. Highlighting a simple yellow and pink color coating, the Popcorn Monsoon is an unconventional and imaginative take on the mundane activity of microwaving popcorn.
