If you’ve ever felt like you’ve heard the same rhyme one, two, maybe three or more times, chances are you were right. A new study has been released that compares artist’s uses of words and how often they reuse the same diction. The project of finding the most repetitive rappers comes from Martin Connor of Rap Analysis and the results yield some interesting findings. Among 23 artists studied, the three top repeaters are will.i.am, Pitbull and Lil Jon, artists that have often blended into mainstream music world. Additionally, Kid Cudi, Ca$h Out, Yo Gotti, B.o.B and Chief Keef were high on the culprit list, while infamous repeaters like Migos and Wiz Khalifa actually scored lower than expected on a separate list posted to Reddit.
